Rain first appeared as herself in OGW, Nov.12. Her mother has run off to NYC, her father is a drunk. Rain has also appeared as Kayla's best friend in OGW, Oct.1, and both girls are friends with Nancy's daughter, Casey (OGW, Nov.5). The three girls are preparing to go to their first party with boys, alcohol, no parents and... Follow OGW to see where their story leads.

Outsider Girls Write is posted every Thursday.

*If you write a blog for or about YA girls, please email me a link (shelley@shelleystoehr.com). I add links to other blogs at outsidergirlswrite… and think about adding a link to OGW to your blog!

Happy reading!

Crosses
Nancy and Katie are best friends with one big thing in common -- they both cut themselves, “Not by accident, we do it purposely -- and regularly -- because physical pain is comforting, and because now it has become a habit.”
Weird on the Outside
